Sandwich Squad

Jesus asked us to care for the underprivileged and feed the hungry. The St. Andrew's Sandwich Squad has the heart to do this. Once a week one or more teams of 6 to 15 individuals, couples and families make 10 lunches each. Some weeks as many as 250 lunches are delivered to the Giving Tree to feed Tucson's homeless people. There are about 150 members of the Squad.

Every eight weeks a team either meets and makes lunches or the members make the lunches at home and bring them to the church. One of the team members delivers the lunches. This is not only a way to help those in need but it is a great way to meet other people in a common worthy cause.
