Ministry Of Caring

Mother Teresa once said, “The greatest pain on earth is not the pain of hunger or poverty, but rather the pain of isolation, abandonment and feeling unloved.”  You can bring God’s love to many simply by reaching out and being a friend.   There is an increasing need for members, who will make a friendly visit or a phone call once a month to a fellow member.  You need only be a caring and friendly Christian who can listen and speak from the heart.  The Deacons offer training once a year on listening and caring techniques.  If interested please call John Conn, Director of Caring Ministries, at 297-7201.
