“Where there is no vision, the people perish

Proverbs 29:18

We are on an evangelistic, mission-oriented journey with emphasis on bringing Jesus Christ to the world.  Worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry development, and evangelism enable us. Three strategic elements define our moving forward:

Reaching Outward — becoming a missional church for whom mission is the organizing principle of all we do:

  • Engage and embrace our families, our community, new cultures, and our world with excitement, joy, understanding, and grace.

  • Boldly reach out to the suffering, the weak, and the lonely, welcoming all who seek a safe haven from the hurt of the world.

  • Acknowledge and accept that all are worthy of God’s love regardless of our ethnic, cultural, physical, and economic differences.

  • Actively serve God by giving generously of our time, talents, and other resources.

  • Meet people where they are and bring them gently to know the Lord.

  • Willingly risk self to witness the Good News of Jesus Christ to all.

  • Commit ourselves to nurturing and welcoming new members until they feel like they are part of our church family.

Looking Upward — strengthening our relationship with God through inspired worship, energizing prayer, and increasing reliance on the Holy Spirit:

  • Draw closer to Christ through the energizing power of prayer, empowered by the Holy Spirit and filled with God’s grace.

  • Be passionate about an ever-deepening relationship with God which gives our lives real meaning.

  • Delight in the Lord, and celebrate the joy of His worship and the growth of His kingdom on earth.

  • Recognize God’s challenge to reach higher, deeper, and further than ever before, and move forward in faith.

Maturing Inward — allowing our lives to be transformed by studying God’s Word, developing greater intimacy with Christ and one another, and living the Christian life:

  • Read and study the Bible and be strengthened by the transforming power of Jesus Christ.

  • Understand the power of developing personal relationships within the community of believers.

  • Create and develop relationships with others, within and outside of the church.

  • Challenge ourselves to know Christ, grow in faith, and share our faith with others.

  • Practice the truth of God’s Word in our lives so others will notice and be attracted.

  • By God’s grace, empower ourselves to be lights in the world for Jesus Christ.
