Praying For Scripture Translation In Sign Languages

Tomorrow ( February 20, 2007) I will be traveling to Guatemala for three weeks.  The purpose is to assess the need for Bible translation in the signed language(s) of that country.  We don't know how many there are yet, so we'll be traveling around the country to see whether Deaf people in different cities all sign basically the same way, whether there are minor differences (dialects) or major ones (distinct languages). 

Please pray for success in this research, safe travel, good harmony on the survey team (I will be mentoring some new surveyors), and opportunities to share the vision for Bible translation as well as sharing about the Lord himself.
