Pastor Carla was ordained in April 2000 and subsequently moved with her husband Frank Williams to Tucson to begin serving as Associate Pastor for St. Andrew's.
As a second career person, Carla brings a unique perspective to ministry within the church. At First Presbyterian Church of San Diego, she served as a lay leader, teacher, mentor, and student while working in the property/casualty insurance field. Pastor Carla never planned to become an ordained pastor, but responded to the "call" that came while attending Bethel Seminary, San Diego. Now Associate Pastor for Community Life and Caring Ministries, Pastor Carla finds joy in ministering in the areas of membership & assimilation, fellowship, and the care and healing ministries of St. Andrew's.
Carla and Frank were married in 1989. Their blended family currently consists of three adult children, four grandchildren, and three cats. Her hobbies including reading, Pilate's, listening to music, and reading.
