Fellowship for Senior Adults
HUGS (Happily Under God's Supervision)
HUGS is our non-denominational senior outreach ministry that offers socialization, stimulation, and a wholesome environment for senior adults living with family members, alone, or in residential care facilities in the Northwest region of Tucson. Our facilities on the Northeast campus accommodate wheelchairs and walkers, but participants must be capable of taking care of their personal physical needs. We gather at 10:15 a.m. and our morning fun ends at 12:45 p.m. and includes a healthy lunch for only $3.00.
Our program allows respite time for caregivers while their loved ones enjoy singing, devotions, games, educational programs, and occasional visits from our St. Andrew's Preschool/Kindergarten children. For more information, e-mail HUGS coordinator Barbara Gross, or call 297-3495.
