St. Andrew’s Youth filled a freightliner called “Frank” with breakfast cereal and bars which they distributed at a nearby school to feed hungry children during the summer months. Youth solicited the help of family, friends, church members, and the community in collecting cereal. Two-hundred fifty families at Walter Douglas School received bags of breakfast food. The youth saw the joy and relief on parents’ faces when they came to pick up the food.
The youth saw God move in people’s hearts to give generously, and they realized that what they take for granted.
