Prayer Ministry News

As we contemplate the many blessings we’ve received from our Heavenly Father during 2007 and begin to plan for our future as individuals and our community of faith here at St. Andrew’s, we are so grateful for the many healings and answers to prayer that families and friends have experienced.  Throughout the year we’ve shared responses with you and here’s even more:

Physical Healings:

  • A breast lump disappeared

  • Clear lymph nodes after a mastectomy

  • Healing of a painful eye condition

  • Good blood reports

Other Praises:

  • Safe traveling for a 3-week trip for 3 members and they’re still friends!

  • A new baby boy

  • New jobs for those who trusted and waited for God’s timing

  • For being restored into the presence of Jesus

  • For the intense work by the Interim Pastor Search Committee and for God’s leading that Pastor Gus is the one to lead our congregation during the next year as the search begins for a senior pastor.

Thank you, Jesus!

Prayer Opportunities for 2008 -

We encourage you to experience the power of praying in small groups, for physical and other kinds of healing, for our congregation, for children, and for our Pastors and the Session as they lead us during this transition time.  Call the office to find out about small groups that meet in the AM during the week and please consider joining either the 6:30 p.m. Tuesday or Friday 7:30 a.m. group to experience the power of the Holy Spirit as we pray now begin praying for the new senior pastor for St. Andrew’s and for patience and unity for the congregation.

We appreciate hearing from those who have received answers to prayer. Remember to fill out the prayer request and answered prayer cards on Sunday at worship.  We look forward to hearing how God is blessing your life and be sure to come forward after worship to pray with our Prayer Team.
