Session Meetings and Minutes Now Open to Members

The Book of Order, the “Constitution” of the Presbyterian Church (USA) states that “The Session shall invite members of the congregation to attend and observe its meetings if it so desires…” (G-10.0201). In the February, 2008 Stated Session meeting, the Session voted to open their meetings to any member of  St. Andrew’s  who wishes to attend.

If anyone wishes to address the Session in any meeting, they must first contact the Clerk of Session, Wayne to Dawson, 529-9352, so that arrangements can be made to allow time on the agenda for your comments. As a part of this opening of the Session meetings, minutes of the meetings will be posted once they are approved. Minutes will be posted in a notebook in the main church office and also in a notebook in the church Library. Copies of the approved minutes of the Board of Deacons and Board of Trustees will be included in these postings. Minutes will not be distributed by mail or email and will not be posted to the website.

Please feel free to stop by one of the above locations to read the minutes and/or attend one of our Stated Session meetings. Stated Session meetings are normally held on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:45 p.m. in Room F on the Southwest Campus.
