Stephen Ministry is Growing at St. Andrew’sWe have a great group of caring Christians who are presently training to be Stephen Ministers here at St. Andrew’s. This class consisting of Bill Grinonneau, Judy Herzog, Nancy Murtagh, Chris Nodolf, Peter Oftedahl, and Carol Smith will have completed 50 hours of training on April 10 and will be commissioned and welcomed into our Stephen Ministry on April 13. We hope you will be able to attend either the 8:30 or 10:45 a.m. service that Sunday to join with our current Stephen Ministers in acknowledging the time, effort, and commitment to serving by these new Stephen Ministers. We currently have 14 Stephen Ministers probably known to most of the members and friends of St. Andrew’s. They are: Bill Armstrong, Nancy Brock, Jack and Peggy Comp, Ben Day, Betty Lou Daugherty, Jim Dunn, Cloud Fugate, Carol Gulley, Betty Huitsing, Sue Ransom, Jay Storey, Patty Wills, and Carmine Wilson. With this new class, the Stephen Ministry at St. Andrew’s will be able to serve even more people who are in need of a caring, listening Christian. Don’t hesitate to seek help for yourself, a loved one, or friend. Just contact Pastor Carla or John Conn, Director of Caring Ministries, or seek out one of the Stephen Ministers listed and they will be able to assist you in getting the caring help you need.
