ALPHA

Alpha is a wonderful program

Comments from past participants

ALPHA will begin Thursday, September 13, at 6 p.m. in Friendship Hall. It will be the “Celebration Dinner” with “Dinner and a Movie.” Sign up by calling the church office. This is a wonderful way to explore your Christian faith and ask questions you have been shy about asking such as, “Who Is Jesus?”, “Why Study the Bible?”, “Who is the Holy Spirit?”....and much more. It’s a 10-week program with dinner, a Niki Gumble video, and small group discussion each Thursday. We hope you’ll join us....and even bring a friend... No charge for dinner either.

ALPHA might well be called Christianity 101.  A primer or refresher course for a Christian looking for a deeper understanding of our faith, or an introduction of the Gospel to a person who doubts or does not share the Christian faith.

ALPHA is not a program for increasing membership in St. Andrew's.  It is a program of outreach and discipleship to bring friends, neighbors, and church members a new understanding of Christianity.

Over the span of the 13 week program, you will deal with such questions as:

Who is Jesus?
How can I be sure of my faith?
Who is the Holy Spirit?
Does God heal today?
How can I be filled with the Holy Spirit?

If you want to be a part of the next ALPHA, or if you have a friend or neighbor who wants to explore the Meaning of Life, and what God has in store for us contact Diane Wilcox at wilcoxaz103@comcast.net
