Be A Missionary: Pray for Forgotten People
In the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19), Christ told His followers that they were to go and make disciples of all nations. That means that we need to know about the world's peoples and bring them God's message. In every corner of the world, people are struggling to survive in the face of poverty, disease, and war. For these people, the love of God and the gospel of freedom through Jesus Christ seems very far away. But Presbyterians worldwide are praying for these unreached people! Currently, Presbyterians are praying for forgotten people in 45 countries, including the U.S.!
Pick up a copy of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A) Forgotten Peoples prayer guide and use it in your daily prayer time. Copies are available in the church office. As you learn about unique people and cultures, pray for them and for our missionaries ministering to them. Join the worldwide Presbyterian prayer team and pray for unreached people around the world. Prayer makes a difference! |
