St Andrew's missions supports many local area organizations and causes. Listed below are just a few of those projects.

|
Interfaith Coalition for the Homeless (ICH) offers food and shelter for homeless in Tucson. St. Andrew's has supported a Winter Homeless program for 18 years. Through this program we have provided homeless men with three meals a day, showers, clean linens and towels plus the intangibles of companionship and fellowship for 4 weeks. Part of this program is directed at assisting these men in finding employment.
Gospel Rescue Mission is a life changing ministry in Tucson that serves the homeless and needy by providing for their spiritual, physical, emotional, and mental wholeness through the power of Jesus Christ. Want more information on the Gospel Rescue Mission ? Primavera sows the seeds of change by strengthening lives, building communities, and advocating for social justice. Primavera's innovative programs and services provide a full range of opportunities to help people transition from poverty to greater well-being and security. For more info click here. Habitat for Humanity is part of a nationwide program that builds homes for low-income families. Since late 1997 members of St. Andrew's goal was to building one Habitat house every few years. Our first home was completed in 1998 through the contributions of members' time, talent and money. We have now completed 3 houses and working on our 4th home here in Tucson. House of Neighborly Service is a Presbyterian mission serving social, physical and spiritual needs of the people in the city of South Tucson. The House develops community services, self-development opportunities and youth programs in the neighborhood. Volunteers assist staff, providing head-start programs, athletic activities, a self-help catering service, tutoring, help with computer skills and advocacy for many underprivileged. For further info click here. Interfaith Community Services is a multipurpose organization brought about by the efforts of St. Andrew's very own Rev. Barbara Anderson. ICS offers a variety of assistance through its Food Bank, Good Samaritan, Mobile Meals, Telecare and VICaP programs. Twenty seven churches in the area currently support ICS. Click here for related story or visit www.icstucson.org. TIHAN, In 2003, St. Andrew's became the 32nd member of TIHAN (Tucson Interfaith HIV/AIDS Network). TIHAN was established in 1994 to work through its member congregations in a ministry of compassion and love for those infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS. Currently a Mission Team subcommittee at St. Andrew's plans and coordinates the Church's support of TIHAN; other St. Andrew's volunteers will be welcomed. Refugee Ministry is a local organization focused on sharing Christ's love with nations in our own backyard. There are new refugee families arriving in Tucson every week who need help navigating in this strange, new country. They need a friend!
