4s Teacher

My first experience with St Andrew’s Preschool and Kindergarten was as an out of town visitor to my grand-children’s classes. As a former teacher it was fun to spend the day in their classrooms, meet the teachers and take part in all their activities. When we moved to Tucson, before the boxes were even unpacked, my daughter was encouraging me to apply for a teaching position at the school.
I started teaching both the five-day class of four- year-olds and an afternoon two-day 4s class the following school year. Teaching at St. Andrew’s (which has also become my church home) has turned out to be more than just “a job”. It is the source of my closest friendships, continued growth in my relationship with the Lord, and a terrific working environment. I found a staff that cares about each other, shares ideas, and laughs a lot. We are also blessed with wonderful supportive parents. The children, of course, are what teaching is all about and to be able to do so in a Christian setting is the very best!
