Rocky Point Mission Trip 2007

Seven members of St. Andrew's worked with members of Pantano Christian church to build homes for those most in need in Rocky Point, Mexico beginning Nov. 8.

The homes, just 11 by 21 foot enclosures, were completed in three days, concrete floors to stucco walls. About 35 people, men, women, and children - worked together to build each house. This new "home" for a family of four replaces the current living quarters you see next to the new home.  Grandparents and two other children will live in an Amor home next door, also built this weekend.

We worshipped on the beach on Sunday morning with almost 300 others Christians from Tucson. The weekend was a tiring, but growing and satisfying experience.

Plan to join us next November.
