“A Duel in the Sun”

Pastor Gus’ sermons for the month of April will be based upon the events in the life of the prophet of the Lord, Elijah. This series is in preparation for the presentation of Mendelssohn’s great oratorio, Elijah, on April 25 and 26. Next Sunday, April 13, Gus’ sermon is entitled “A Duel in the Sun.” This is an exciting and scary story. A story of heroism and fear, a story of bravery and cowardice.
