Moses: The Prince Life to the Desert Life

“Heart shaping or spiritual development does not progress linearly. Its dynamic reflects more of a layering process, similar to a recording studio in recording various sound tracks that are then mixed together to create a single piece. The sub stories within our lives God uses to help shape us.”

Reggie McNeal, The Work of the Heart

Today we are going to walk through the early story of Moses and we will start to see how God uses the environment in which a person is raised to help shape them.

·        We are shaped by our early experiences

·        God will still use our mistakes and failures.

·        God often at the right timing puts key people in our lives.

Questions to Consider

1.      How did your childhood, town, school and upbringing influence your faith journey for good or for worse?

2.      How have your mistakes small or large shape you?

3.      As God put in Moses life the Princess, mother, Jethro, Zipporah, and his son Gershom whom has God used in your own faith journey?
