William Winterton

Director of Contemporary Music  & Puppet Ministries

William has been active at St. Andrew’s since 1999. He started playing the bass guitar at the Contemporary Worship service. There he met his future wife, and in April of 2002, William and Darcy were married. In the fall of 2003, William created K’Deo - an original puppet ministry featuring music, lights, and a life-sized puppet named Bernard. Now in its 7th year, K’Deo continues to serve St. Andrew’s as a place where families can worship together in an interactive and highly-entertaining way. William continued to play, with the Worship team, at the 8:30 a.m. service, and in August of 2008 he was brought on as the interim contemporary music director. He is honored to accept the new position as the Director of Contemporary Worship and Puppet Ministries.

You can contact William at 297-7201, ext. 234, or email wwinterton@standrewspres.com.
